Most AI pilots die because they start with the technology, not the business. The AI Discovery Workshop starts from your stakeholders and their goals, maps the real problems, and ends with a concrete proposal — visualised as a design or a working prototype before you spend a euro on development. Including an honest call on where you don't need AI at all, and what your team can try on their own.
No pitch, no obligation — you'll leave the intro call with at least one AI opportunity worth exploring.
The problem
Sound familiar? These are the three ways companies burn budget on AI — and what they have in common is skipping discovery.
A flashy chatbot demo, six months of tinkering, zero change to revenue or costs. It started from a tool, not from a workflow that matters.
Every team quietly pays for three AI subscriptions. Nobody measures whether any of them beat the old way of working.
People fear being replaced instead of being equipped, so adoption stalls. Without a shared map, AI stays a threat instead of a lever.
What you leave with
Your stakeholders, their goals and KPIs, and your work processes mapped — with every spot where AI could remove cost, time or error, drawn live with your team in Miro. Including the quick wins your team can try on their own, right away.
The top-voted ideas developed into real proposals — what the solution would look like, how it would work, and a suggested path to implementation. Honestly marked where you don't need AI at all and a simpler fix gets the same result.
The chosen proposal made tangible — a static design, or a vibe-coded working prototype, depending on what the idea calls for. Something you can react to, not a paragraph in a report.
Help shaping the internal pitch to get the project approved — the arguments, the potential, the plan and an estimated budget.
The format
We work through five phases in a series of ~2-hour sessions — together in the room, everyone typing on their own laptop in a shared Miro board. If we see an extra session would pay off, we simply schedule one.
The Miro board is prepared and shared a few days ahead (with a short how-to-Miro tutorial), so you can drop in ideas before we even start. The board stays yours afterwards.
Ask about the agendaWho could we help? We list your stakeholders, their KPIs and North Star metrics, then map how work actually gets done and the concrete problems each team runs into.
We start in an ideal world — magic wand, unlimited budget — and generate without limits. Then we tone the crazy ideas down into feasible, MVP-sized versions that keep the original spark.
Every idea lands on an interest-versus-effort map. The team votes; the top 3 move forward. The hype dies here — what survives is worth funding.
We work the chosen proposals into implementable shape — what the solution looks like, how it works, and where AI isn't even needed to get the result. Then we build the visualisation or proof of concept: a design, or a vibe-coded prototype. Simpler pieces get flagged as things your team can try on their own.
Support preparing the internal pitch: arguments, potential, plan and estimated budget for the green light.
Who's running it
I'm Sašo Jakljevič — product designer & AI integrator, building digital products from 0 to 1 since 2015. I've spent ten years doing exactly this kind of discovery: finding the riskiest assumption, testing it cheaply, and only then building.
Lately that means AI in production: an AI-supported enquiry management system for law firms at Kyanite, and AI receptionist support inside AnswerFast's white-label call answering platform.
And it's how this workshop works in practice: with Fly Amelia's airworthiness (CAMO) team, the sessions surfaced document consistency checking as the winning idea — today it's a working AI cross-check tool that reconciles the maintenance programme, AMS exports and Dent & Buckle charts, with findings reviewed on an audit-trailed board.

FAQ
Especially for you. The workshop starts from your workflows, not from technology. If your team can describe how work gets done, we can find where AI fits — and I translate the technical side into plain decisions.
Then you've saved yourself a failed pilot — and you still walk away with answers. Part of the workshop is explicitly figuring out where you don't need AI to get the result: we sketch what that simpler solution would look like and how it would work, and flag the things your team can try on their own. The opportunity map and process map stay valuable either way.
Consultants tend to deliver reports; I run discovery the way I've run it for ten years of shipping products — assumption mapping, live testing on your real examples, and a plan measured in baseline metrics. And I've integrated AI into production products myself, so the feasibility scores come from experience, not slides.
Sessions run about 2 hours each, so nobody loses a full day of work. We move through the five phases across a handful of sessions; if we see an extra one would pay off, we schedule it as we go. The Miro board is shared a few days before the first session, so you can add ideas whenever they strike you.
The people who own the workflows: founder/CEO, operations, and the team leads who do the actual work. Everyone contributes on their own laptop in Miro while we discuss together — so quieter voices get on the board too. Never used Miro? You'll get a short tutorial before we start.
Seveda. Workshops run in Slovenian or English, in the room anywhere in Slovenia and the EU, or fully remote.
Depends on the winning idea. Sometimes a static design is the fastest way to test the concept; sometimes it's a vibe-coded working prototype your team can click through on real examples. For Fly Amelia's CAMO team, the workshop's winning idea became a working AI document cross-check tool.
